Father's Day

Today is Robert's first Father's Day. And he's at work. All I have to say is "Lame." I was tempting him to call in and take the day off but we're a bit broke at the moment so we wouldn't be able to do anything anyway.

It is his first official Father's Day that he is able to celebrate though. This time last year we had already lost our precious Jayden.

So both Dominic and I are both home alone while everyone else in our neighborhood seems to be having a barbecue and spending quality family time together. It's just us two and we're both spending the day without our fathers. Lame. A fatherless Father's Day. At least Dominic will spend some time later on (around 11pm) with his dad. Mine is 600+ miles away. =[ And yes, they're enjoying a barbecue too.

Haircuts

Take it from me: NEVER get your haircut at WalMart! I like(d) it because for only $3 more than MasterCuts they give you a shampoo =] But this B!+<# cut my hair crooked! She was being super lazy when doing my layers that my shortest layer on my right is probably about 2 to 3 inches shorter than on the left!

This reminds me of a WalMart haircut I got about 7 months ago. Not all haircuts from there are that bad actually. This WalMart was in Pleasanton, TX though so maybe just the ones in El Paso such. Anyway, at the time I was four months pregnant with Dominic. I was waiting in line for forever and then this lady barges in complaining about how long the wait is. She's talking about "I'm from Austin and we're visiting for the holidays! This is ridiculous! I'm sorry I'm cranky but I'm pregnant and we've been waiting forever!" So the hairdresser kind of gave her an attitude back. Then, when it's my turn and I stand up the hairdresser says, "Oh no not you too!" I just laughed it off. I was determined to clean up the image of pregnant women everywhere for this poor WalMart hairdresser. We ended up talking smack about the other preggo.

Bottom line: Being pregnant is not an excuse to treat other people like $#!+
